Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• You will be involved with our storage platform that underpins the B2 Object Storage and Computer Backup products, ensuring the reliable storage of customer data.

• Your role will focus on enhancing durability, boosting throughput, and spearheading architectural modifications to meet the long-term needs of our service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Rust, C++, C#, etc.) within an enterprise setting (personal project experience is not considered).

• Proven experience in developing large-scale software systems that operate on thousands of servers.

• Proficient in every phase of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Demonstrates curiosity and seeks to comprehend issues thoroughly before presenting solutions.

• Utilizes analytical thinking to address complex and ambiguous challenges.

• Bonus points for:

• Expertise in Java or Rust.

• Experience in constructing and analyzing models, dashboards, or reports.

• Knowledge of hard drive performance.

• Familiarity with Linux internals and file systems.
