Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, including application design, API implementation, deployment, and feature monitoring.

• Integrate production applications with AI agent frameworks like LangChain and interoperability protocols such as MCP and A2A.

• Create secure, version-controlled application data models that enforce multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data classification.

• Develop services that are consistently deployed across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Establish and achieve feature-level performance objectives through query optimization, code profiling, caching, and security measures.

• Take ownership of application components, facilitate design and code reviews, mentor team members, and influence decisions in an async-first setting.

• Engage directly with customers and product leadership while taking full ownership of significant system components from start to finish.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to data-intensive applications, database-related features, or enterprise software.

• Full ownership of a substantial production feature or module from functional specification to live deployment.

• Hands-on experience in deploying, debugging, and managing application services across at least two major public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation systems.

• Experience in building LLM-based applications or workflows using AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.

• Strong expertise in Python and high proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Go, Java, or C++.

• Proficient in relational databases, advanced SQL, structural indexing, query optimization, transactions, and schema design.

• Experience in implementing temporal data models, event-driven tracking, audit logs, or system-versioned tables.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, row-level security, and multi-tenant data isolation.

• Skilled in structured logging, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, and functional alerting.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST and/or gRPC APIs.
