Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Lead the Vision: Spearhead the strategy, planning, and roadmap for our AI platform, pinpointing essential opportunities to embed AI throughout every phase of the product development lifecycle.

• Architect and Build: Design, create, and sustain a robust and scalable AI platform. This encompasses the development and management of intelligent agents to automate tasks in areas such as requirements gathering, story creation, development, testing, CI/CD, and observability.

• End-to-End Ownership: Assume complete responsibility for AI initiatives, from the initial ideation and proof-of-concept stages to deployment, monitoring, and continuous support.

• Mentor and Collaborate: Act as a technical leader and mentor to fellow engineers, promoting AI best practices and working collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.

• Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure that the AI platform is dependable, observable, and secure. Create and uphold robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and incident response protocols.

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Collaborate closely with customer support and product teams to address customer escalations and utilize feedback to enhance AI-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a substantial emphasis on developing and scaling platforms.

• Deep Expertise in AI: Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven systems within a production environment.

• Platform Engineering: Strong foundation in platform engineering, including the creation of reusable services, APIs, and infrastructure to support multiple teams.

• Full-Stack Proficiency: Experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.

• Agent-Based Systems: Practical experience in creating and managing intelligent agents or similar automated systems for specific tasks.

• Cloud and DevOps: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and contemporary DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and observability tools.

• Strong Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence both technical and business strategies.

• Problem-Solving: A practical and innovative problem-solver adept at navigating ambiguity and delivering high-quality solutions.
