Senior Software Engineer – AI-Augmented Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create top-notch software products within the realms of hyperautomation and workflow management utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies.

• Independently handle intricate full-stack projects.

• Evaluate SRS documents, resolve outstanding issues with stakeholders, and convert business requirements into solid software architectures.

• Create data models (ER diagrams), establish API interfaces (RESTful, OpenAPI), and develop security frameworks (RBAC, OAuth, JWT) in accordance with OWASP standards.

• Apply backend technologies (Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL) and frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, TypeScript) to build high-performance, scalable applications.

• Formulate testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), maintain code quality through reviews, and proactively identify security vulnerabilities.

• Launch applications on self-hosted servers, configure CI/CD pipelines, and enhance monitoring dashboards.

• Critically assess AI-generated code, pinpoint architectural defects, and improve system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification (IT specialist in application development).

• Several years of hands-on experience in software development (substantiated by portfolio or project references).

• Daily effective use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and database design (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Expertise in at least one backend language at a senior level: Node.js, Python, Go, C#, Java.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular (at least one at senior level).

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary UI/UX patterns.

• Thorough understanding of the OWASP Top 10 (Injection, XSS, CSRF, Broken Authentication).

• Practical experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, RBAC, SSO).

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

• Capability to deploy applications on self-hosted servers, not just cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Vercel).

• Strong proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken (for effective communication with stakeholders).
