Senior Software Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of our patient-facing conversational agent.

• Develop a robust, scalable system for voice and multimodal conversations that operates with low latency.

• Establish comprehensive prompt engineering methodologies and formulate effective metrics for system assessment.

• Determine opportunities for fine-tuning and alignment, and construct data pipelines to facilitate rapid experimentation.

• Collaborate with other backend engineers to deploy AI models and chat/voice APIs.

• Assist in identifying, assessing, and implementing cutting-edge LLM technologies, tools, and frameworks.

• Partner with clinical specialists to ensure performance validation and medical accuracy.

• Contribute to the development of backend services utilizing FastAPI and Pydantic.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on backend web development.

• Proficient and comfortable working with type-hinted, modern Python.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing end-to-end LLM applications, whether personally or professionally.

• Experience with the integration and optimization of LLMs within production settings.

• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks.

• Knowledge and practical experience in MLOps/LLMOps best practices.

• Proven track record of building AI infrastructure from the ground up.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and containerization technologies.
