Senior Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate autonomously while managing tasks from start to finish

• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team by enhancing and directing the architecture

• Play a role in simplifying the development process

• Collaborate closely with the Product team to convert business requirements into innovative, elegant, incremental, and efficient solutions

• Design and create components and applications with a focus on simplicity, efficiency, maintainability, and code reusability

• Ensure proper documentation of applications and architectural choices

• Guarantee the observability of production applications and engage in incident resolution

• Continuously assess and enhance application scalability, stability, and security

• Assume full responsibility for projects from inception to completion

• Exhibit strong collaboration skills to eliminate any obstacles faced

• Keep abreast of web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, and suggest enhancements to improve development processes

• Proficiency in system design and code design patterns

• Strong expertise in Python

• Experience in developing scalable APIs

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Knowledge of system observability

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases

• Ability to create reusable, modular back-end components that foster code reuse, maintainability, and scalability

• Understanding of agile methodologies and an entrepreneurial mindset

• Exceptional communication skills and an inclusive approach to decision-making

• Experience with cloud-based service architectures

• Practical experience with LLMs

• Understanding of prompt engineering and quality control methods for Generative AI
