Senior Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and execute autonomous agents utilizing frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI that are capable of engaging with internal APIs and external tools to address complex, multi-step challenges.

• Develop and enhance high-performance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines employing vector databases (Pinecone/Milvus) to ground LLMs in our deterministic identity data.

• Transform AI prototypes into scalable, fault-tolerant production services leveraging Python, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS.

• Engage in experimentation with prompt engineering, few-shot prompting, and fine-tuning open-source models (Llama 3, Mistral) to achieve an optimal balance of performance, cost, and latency.

• Construct evaluation frameworks (Evals) to assess agent reliability, accuracy, and safety, ensuring consistent performance of our agents in a production context.

• Collaborate closely with the Principal Engineering Manager to establish technical standards, conduct code reviews, and define architectural patterns for the expanding team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on LLMs, NLP, or Generative AI.

• Advanced proficiency in Python.

• Experienced in writing complex, asynchronous code and developing robust APIs (FastAPI/Flask).

• Extensive hands-on experience with the contemporary AI stack: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, and Vector Stores.

• Solid understanding of agentic concepts such as 'Chain of Thought' reasoning, ReAct patterns, and tool-calling.

• Experience in deploying applications to AWS (Lambda, ECS, SageMaker) and utilizing containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
