Senior Software Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Leverage AI-driven development tools, such as Claude Code, to enhance implementation speed while ensuring accuracy, security, and performance.

• Create and develop server-side APIs that verify user identities, manage backups, conduct extensive data operations, and prepare restored data for our international customer base.

• Work alongside Product, QA, and Support teams to guarantee that backend features align with authentic customer workflows and usage trends.

• Develop and sustain support tools that assist in diagnosing and resolving customer issues efficiently at scale.

• Ensure that all code and open-source resources adhere to rigorous standards for testing, documentation, reproducibility, and developer usability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering, preferably on systems that cater to millions of users across various platforms.

• Proficient in one or more backend programming languages (Java, Python, TypeScript, or similar); adaptable to learning new languages as required.

• Solid understanding of AI workflows, including data ingestion, preprocessing, inference, and agent-based orchestration.

• Experience in developing or working with large-scale APIs and distributed storage or data systems.

• Commitment to production-quality coding practices: thorough testing, comprehensive documentation, and a focus on security and performance.

• Customer-centric approach — you prioritize the experience of both developers and end-users in all your projects.

• Excellent written communication skills; able to articulate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
