📋 Description

• Monitor and comprehend the changing development patterns of agents within NVIDIA and the wider ecosystem, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of both research and commercial offerings.

• Create open-source libraries and tools that enhance and optimize agent harnesses and frameworks, guaranteeing superior performance, accuracy, quality, and stability.

• Evaluate the latest agents to pinpoint bottlenecks and devise innovative solutions aimed at boosting performance, lowering costs, and enhancing latency.

• Collaborate closely with teams that develop high-performance data pipelines, RAG systems, vector databases, and GPU-optimized training and inference workflows to provide first-rate agentic applications.

• Recognize gaps and friction within existing agent architectures, translating insights into agentic tools that enhance developer velocity and agent quality—supported by evaluations, benchmarking, and feedback mechanisms.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of experience with at least one of Rust, Python, Go, or Node.js, along with working knowledge of at least one additional language.

• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, callbacks, request lifecycles, and event-driven architectures.

• Practical experience with advancing agent architectures, various agent frameworks, and agent harnesses.

• Expertise in LLM applications, agent workflows, tool calls, and model-provider APIs.

• Capability to design or enhance cross-language APIs with a focus on consistency, usability, stability, and backward compatibility.

• Systems-level debugging and performance insight: able to trace execution from high-level API calls through runtime internals, language bindings, callbacks, serialization, and event emissions to identify overhead and optimize critical paths.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating direct engagement and effective collaboration with the open-source community.
