Senior Software Engineer, Adaptive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain features that enhance adaptive radiotherapy workflows, including DICOM integration, image registration, dose visualization, DVH evaluation, and machine positioning.

• Create and refine algorithms for 3D image processing, coordinate transformations, deformable registration, and dose sampling on deformed anatomy.

• Develop efficient and reliable WPF desktop software that operates under near real-time constraints.

• Integrate with oncology information systems through DICOM networking and related clinical interfaces.

• Work collaboratively with physicists and product leaders to convert clinical requirements into production-ready software.

• Engage in architecture discussions, testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making processes.

• Provide support to teammates through collaboration, mentorship, and sharing of knowledge.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a comparable technical discipline.

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong expertise in C# and WPF, with a background in developing production desktop applications.

• Familiarity with DICOM data, including network operations and file processing, as well as 3D medical imaging.

• Experience with geometric computing, numerical methods, coordinate systems, spatial transformations, and performance-driven software development.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
