Senior Software Development Engineer in Test – Playwright

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and uphold automated testing frameworks utilizing Playwright.

• Engage in the transition from Leapwork to Playwright.

• Determine test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and potential risks based on specifications.

• Create end-to-end, integration, and API tests.

• Produce clean, maintainable automation code adhering to SOLID principles.

• Run automated tests to verify functionality, performance, and scalability.

• Embed tests into continuous delivery pipelines.

• Conduct exploratory testing for new features.

• Recognize, document, and monitor defects using tools such as JIRA.

• Collaborate closely with developers within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of testing methodologies and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with a focus on testing.

• Strong practical experience with Playwright (essential).

• Proficient programming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, etc.).

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.

• Experience in API testing and database testing.

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in modernizing or transitioning testing frameworks is an advantage.
