Senior Software Development Engineer – AS400, IBMi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop solutions and design intricate functionalities within the RECO domain.

• Assist in defining standards, methodologies, and guidelines while ensuring adherence to them and aligning solutions with the Adjudication Platform application architecture.

• Spearhead modernization initiatives for IBMi systems, including automation and integration with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.

• Utilize internal development tools and CI/CD processes effectively.

• Offer technical leadership to project teams and advocate for best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of AS/400 application development.

• More than 5 years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE, and CL; including Synon2/E (also known as COOL 2/E).

• At least 5 years of experience with IBMi SQL.

• Over 5 years of experience in leading application teams to implement technical enhancements and initiatives.

• Familiarity with Adjudication Platform or comparable pharmacy claim adjudication systems.

• A background in Healthcare or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems.

• Knowledge of IBMi integration with cloud platforms.

• Proven track record of successfully completing various medium to large-scale projects; skilled in all phases of the SDLC and adept at problem identification and resolution through research and fact-finding.
