Senior Software Developer – PreCon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and services.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify and deliver impactful features.

• Build and maintain full-stack solutions that encompass backend services, APIs, and contemporary front-end interfaces.

• Create AI-enhanced features to improve decision-making, forecasting, and risk assessment.

• Utilize AI tools and methodologies to expedite development processes and enhance code quality.

• Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of applications.

• Engage in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decision-making.

• Mentor and assist fellow engineers while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong expertise in modern web application development.

• Experience in building and utilizing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

• Experience in cloud-based environments.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively in an agile setting.

• Familiarity with Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

• Proven experience in building and deploying applications on AWS.

• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies.
