Senior Software Developer, HTML5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design Software Implementation Documents – The Software Developer will produce documentation that outlines the design of the software solution.

• Develop Software Unit Tests – Generate Unit Tests that validate the solution operates as intended using Test Driven Development methodologies.

• Create Software Installation Packages – Develop installation packages that enable our clients to set up software on their workstations and servers.

• Produce Software Implementations – Write source code that aligns with the design requirements by adhering to the rules established in a unit test.

• Engage in Code Reviews – All developed code will undergo a review process before being checked into the source code control system. The Software Developer will be tasked with modifying the code based on feedback from the review.

• Contribute to Software Implementation Planning – The Software Developer will take part in planning sessions for software by providing effort estimates needed for specific software design implementations.

• Participate in Implementation Review Sessions – The Software Developer will join implementation review meetings, allowing them to receive input from key stakeholders through demonstrations of the software implementation.

• Deliverables: Software source code, software unit tests, installation packages.

• Architectural documents, database schema diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, sequence diagrams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a project lead or team leader in a development setting.

• Required IT experience: 8+ years of overall industry experience with HTML 5.

• A practical and analytical mindset for problem-solving is essential for this role.

• Technical expertise is a crucial aspect of this position. Candidates should have prior experience developing software products in a product-focused environment and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the methods and qualities associated with industrial-strength software.

• Familiarity with Large Language Models.

• Knowledge of Agentic AI.

• Experience with Machine Learning.

• Proficiency in JavaScript.

• Experience with React.

• Familiarity with CSS3.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of JSON Data Objects.

• Experience with Distributed Architectures.

• Proficient in Asynchronous Request Handling.

• Knowledge of Design Patterns.

• Experience with XML.

• Proficiency in GIT / SVN.

• Background in product development.

• Experience with Browser-Based Software.

• Familiarity with Responsive Web Design.

• Understanding of modern architectural software development methodologies.

• Experience using Design Patterns such as MVVM and MVC is preferred.

• A Master of Science Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
