Senior Software Developer – Forma Admin, Back End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, conceptualize, design, develop, and test features that assist customers in managing members within the Autodesk Forma platform.

• Collaborate with various teams across Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering, and Construction organization, both locally and internationally.

• Develop unit and integration tests to enhance code quality and robustness.

• Actively participate in code reviews and pull requests, seek feedback on your code from the team, and strive to improve as a developer.

• Establish and uphold high coding standards.

• Provide mentorship to fellow developers and demonstrate leadership through example.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or substantial equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing back-end solutions using Node.js.

• Proficiency in SQL/Postgres databases.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.

• Capability to design scalable and resilient technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including managers, customers, and software developers.

• Skill in translating complex software issues into technical tasks.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and thrive in a remote-friendly distributed team environment to achieve team objectives.

• Adaptability in dynamic conditions and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
