Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain clinical trial software with a focus on ensuring patient safety and the integrity of clinical study data.

• Evaluate product requirements and confirm that all specifications can be effectively implemented.

• Support the development of technical design and implementation documentation.

• Create and code software applications while addressing defects as they arise.

• Provide unit testing coverage for the code delivered.

• Collaborate with team members to guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality code.

• Oversee software deployment across all environments and complete the necessary documentation.

• Assist the support team in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

• Perform additional related duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or software engineering.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Python in production environments.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and cloud services (AWS), along with experience in building and supporting services.

• Django experience is preferred.

• Angular experience is preferred.

• Prior exposure to AI technologies, with an inquisitive mindset to experiment with tools like Claude Code or similar solutions.

• Capability to design, develop, and support software modules of medium to high complexity.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Robust production-support mindset for mission-critical payment systems.
