Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

• Develop dependable infrastructure components that support high-availability systems.

• Enhance system scalability, performance, and operational resilience.

• Participate in architecture discussions and aid in technical decision-making.

• Engage in integrations with blockchain networks and digital asset infrastructures.

• Assist in managing systems related to token operations, permissions, transaction workflows, and operational controls.

• Contribute to the development of internal tools and improvements in platform reliability.

• Aid in maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure standards.

• Enhance observability, monitoring, and operational tools.

• Support deployment workflows and automation of infrastructure.

• Collaborate on initiatives focused on performance optimization and system reliability.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and various internal teams.

• Facilitate technical discussions and aid in implementation planning.

• Assist in translating business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Strong practical expertise in Node.js, which is the primary technology stack.

• Proven experience in building scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with databases, asynchronous systems, and microservices architectures.

• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and ecosystems surrounding digital assets.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in dynamic engineering environments.

• Background in financial infrastructure or fintech platforms.

• Familiarity with Ethereum and EVM-compatible ecosystems.

• Understanding of token standards and workflows related to blockchain transactions.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
