Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js.

• Create robust infrastructure components that support high-availability systems.

• Enhance system scalability, performance, and operational reliability.

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Work on integrations with blockchain networks and digital asset infrastructures.

• Provide support for systems related to token operations, permissions, transaction workflows, and operational controls.

• Assist in the development of internal tools and improvements to platform reliability.

• Aid in maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure standards.

• Enhance observability, monitoring, and operational tooling.

• Support deployment workflows and automate infrastructure processes.

• Collaborate on initiatives focused on performance optimization and system reliability.

• Contribute to technical documentation and uphold engineering best practices.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams.

• Facilitate technical discussions and support implementation planning.

• Assist in translating business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Proficient hands-on expertise in Node.js, which is the primary technology stack.

• Proven experience in developing scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with databases, asynchronous systems, and microservices architectures.

• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and digital asset ecosystems.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in fast-paced engineering environments.

• Background in financial infrastructure or fintech platforms.

• Knowledge of Ethereum and EVM-compatible ecosystems.

• Understanding of token standards and blockchain transaction workflows.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Excellent English communication skills are essential.
