Senior Software Application Developer – Homeland Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Establish the system architecture, coding standards, and cloud hosting framework (AWS) for the software suite.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient source code; spearhead security-first DevSecOps initiatives and database integrations.

• Perform thorough code reviews, enhance database queries, and ensure full compliance with DHS/CBP security requirements.

• Work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, and designers to transform high-level user requirements into detailed technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership or software architecture position.

• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript; strong knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and AWS cloud environments.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.
