Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of extensive SaaS security data, investigate incidents, and devise sophisticated threat detection methodologies.

• Explore vast terabytes of SaaS Application data to pinpoint new attack vectors, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities across a range of attack surfaces.

• Apply technical expertise to probe into intricate SaaS & AI security incidents, examining data from various SaaS applications to reveal root causes and attack strategies.

• Utilize knowledge in data analysis and correlation to refine detection rules and algorithms, reducing false positives and improving the precision of threat alerts.

• Lead thought leadership efforts by producing technical blog articles, hosting webinars, and presenting at conferences to share knowledge and educate the community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally within SOC, SIEM, Threat Intelligence, or Cloud Security.

• Proficiency in addressing SaaS security challenges such as shadow IT, OAuth vulnerabilities, IDP misconfigurations, and excessive permissions.

• Practical experience in security data analysis, including large-scale log processing, anomaly detection, and behavioral analytics.

• Expertise in SQL (e.g., ClickHouse) for querying security events and correlating threat indicators.

• A strong grasp of identity-based attacks, insider threats, and SOC detection methodologies.

• Familiarity with SIEM and XDR solutions (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle) and their significance in modern detection engineering.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively triage security incidents and enhance detection rules.
