• Provide assistance to the Social Media team;
• Act as project advisor to account staff, receiving guidance from senior personnel as needed;
• Handle daily research, manage social media communities, and deliver internal educational presentations;
• Expected to take ownership of projects, comprehending and remaining informed about marketing needs within the pharmaceutical sector;
• Keep up-to-date with new media advancements;
• Engage in team meetings and assist internal and external client initiatives to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet objectives;
• Formulate and implement social media strategies to boost brand visibility and interaction;
• Evaluate social media data to produce actionable insights and refine campaigns;
• Track social media trends, competitor actions, and industry changes;
• Create and maintain social media dashboards and reports to monitor performance metrics;
• Collaborate with creative, medical, and account teams to design content strategies;
• Offer strategic recommendations based on social media assessments and insights;
• Conduct social listening research to extract insights and guide content planning;
• Remain informed about regulatory standards and ensure compliance in all social media efforts;
• Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients;
• Mentor and support junior social media analysts, providing constructive feedback;
• Manage multiple projects at the same time, ensuring timely and accurate delivery;
• Use social media analytics tools and platforms to enhance performance;
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and actively managing bias;
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education plus professional experience) required;
• Up to 3 years of relevant industry experience;
• Internship experience in the industry or new media is a plus;
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising, with a preference for understanding digital strategy, media, social listening technology, and influencers;
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work in a team setting;
• Proficient in business software (MS Office) and online tools;
• Basic technical knowledge and insight, preferably with an understanding of social media or mobile;
• Good interpersonal and writing abilities;
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
