Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Workforce Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the reliability and availability of corporate IAM systems from start to finish, which includes participating in on-call rotations, incident response, conducting root cause analyses, and facilitating blameless retrospectives to guarantee 24/7 uptime for essential identity services.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to enhance identity platform deployments, reduce manual operational tasks, and systematically test changes prior to production implementation.

• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering teams as a subject matter expert in corporate IAM and DevOps tools, providing guidance on identity lifecycle management, provisioning, SSO, MFA, and architectural access control.

• Enhance observability and disaster recovery capabilities across IAM systems by establishing metrics, deploying monitoring solutions, and formulating recovery strategies that adhere to stringent SLA requirements.

• Improve documentation standards by creating and updating detailed runbooks, system configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures throughout the identity platform lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or infrastructure engineering, with direct responsibility for identity and access management platforms (Okta, Duo, Auth0, EntraID, Ping, or similar).

• Proven ability to build tools that address IAM-specific challenges, including identity lifecycle management and provisioning, SSO, MFA, and ABAC/RBAC at an enterprise scale.

• Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C#) and experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform or equivalent).

• A history of managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) utilizing infrastructure-as-code, including container orchestration and automated deployment frameworks.

• Employs generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
