Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the IVIX on-premise deployment architecture from start to finish, influencing engineering decisions on its construction, scalability, and ongoing enhancements.

• Conduct intricate deployments in client environments, engaging directly with Kubernetes, containerized services, networking, storage, and multi-component infrastructure setups.

• Act as the primary technical liaison with clients from pre-onboarding through to go-live, steering technical discussions, setting expectations, and addressing any technical inquiries that surface during the deployment process.

• Convert RFP requirements and contractual obligations into organized installation plans, coordinating all elements and managing the deployment timeline comprehensively.

• Assume complete responsibility for post-deployment technical operations, including resolving infrastructure failures, networking and connectivity challenges, and configuring containerized services across client environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in a technical deployment, DevOps, or SRE position within a B2B or B2G enterprise software setting.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux systems, networking fundamentals such as firewall rules, DNS, and VPN configurations, and virtualization platforms.

• Proven experience operating in security and compliance-focused environments, including government, financial services, or similar regulated sectors.

• The ability to engage with clients effectively, demonstrating the technical expertise to lead a client technical review, navigate challenging technical discussions, and communicate clearly with both engineers and executives.

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple client deployments, timelines, and dynamic elements simultaneously.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote role based in the US, while closely collaborating with a team based in Israel across different time zones.

• Strong Advantage

• Specific experience with on-premise deployments. While cloud-native engineers with in-depth internal knowledge are considered, prior on-premise exposure is a significant differentiator.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, or integrations.

• Fluency in Spanish.

• Experience in US-based roles within Israeli-founded technology companies.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.
