This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement scalable and secure AWS infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies across various client projects simultaneously.
• You will construct CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment workflows, and set up monitoring and observability solutions that empower clients to function efficiently in the cloud.
• By collaborating closely with solutions architects and project managers, you will convert client needs into technical solutions while upholding high standards for security, reliability, and performance.
• Engage with client technical teams to apply DevOps best practices, resolve intricate infrastructure challenges, and provide knowledge transfer to ensure lasting success.
• You will manage multiple project priorities, adapt to diverse client environments, and contribute to the enhancement of our internal tools and methodologies.
• Your contributions will directly support our AWS DevOps Competency and assist clients in achieving their digital transformation goals.
• Over 3 years of practical experience with AWS infrastructure and core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
• A solid understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPC design, security groups, NACLs, connectivity patterns).
• Experience in designing highly available and fault-tolerant architectures in accordance with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Familiarity with AWS security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Strong skills in Git/version control practices, including branching strategies.
• Experience in creating reusable and modular infrastructure code.
• Background in AWS-based application or workload migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or CircleCI).
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling deployments).
• Basic knowledge of Docker and best practices for containerization.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS or ECS for managing container orchestration.
• Understanding of microservices and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience in implementing monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Knowledge of log aggregation tools (ELK stack, CloudWatch Logs Insights).
• Ability to define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies.
• Background in application performance monitoring and distributed tracing.
• Experience in handling multiple client projects or workstreams concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in documenting technical solutions, runbooks, and operational procedures.
