Senior Site Reliability Engineer – m/f/x

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Guarantee the reliability, availability, and performance of our Database- and Observability-as-a-Service offerings.

• Oversee containerized applications in Kubernetes, emphasizing security and resilience.

• Spearhead incident response, root cause analysis, and sustainable remediation initiatives.

• Implement GitOps methodologies utilizing Helm and Argo CD.

• Create API services and tools in Go to ensure stable SaaS solutions.

• Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines to boost deployment safety and system reliability.

• Design and manage scalable infrastructure employing Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform) in cloud settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in managing highly available systems within Linux and Kubernetes environments.

• Strong grasp of observability principles (monitoring, logging, tracing).

• Practical development experience in Go (additional knowledge of Python or Rust is a bonus).

• Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Hands-on experience in incident management and structured root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with CI systems, particularly GitLab CI.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills in both German and English (minimum B2 level).
