Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Monitoring and Alerts: Create, maintain, and enhance clear dashboards and intelligent alerts (infrastructure and business rules) to ensure real-time visibility into system health;

• Log Management and APM: Proactively analyze, parse, and centralize logs while configuring and monitoring APM metrics to improve performance;

• Automation: Design and sustain automation solutions for the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure (IaC);

• Incident Management: Engage in resolving production issues and incidents by utilizing observability data for swift diagnostics and root cause analysis;

• SRE Culture: Collaborate with and advocate for best practices among development teams to enhance resilience, instrumentation, and metrics collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in roles such as SRE, DevOps Engineer, or infrastructure positions with a strong emphasis on observability;

• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools;

• Practical experience with tools including Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Thanos, Fluentbit, Promtail, and the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana);

• Expertise in log analysis and parsing, ensuring standardization and quality of structured data;

• Hands-on experience using APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools for comprehensive application diagnostics;

• Capability to create effective dashboards and both predictive and reactive alerts while minimizing alert fatigue;

• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems;

• Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes);

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices;

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
