This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop systems for declarative management of application and infrastructure lifecycles, encompassing continuous integration, continuous deployment, Kubernetes cluster oversight, and service/workload inventory.
• Address and prioritize infrastructure challenges, effectively minimizing downtime and responding promptly to alerts.
• Play a key role in shaping the direction of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, ensuring alignment with Counterpart Health's overarching company goals.
• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance environment that encourages motivation, innovation, and teamwork across disciplines.
• Optimize and automate infrastructure workflows, including delivery pipelines and database modifications.
• You possess over 5 years of programming experience and are skilled in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, or Shell Scripting.
• You have extensive knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration tools such as Docker, Containerd, and Kubernetes, along with experience in CNCF-related technologies like Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
• You have familiarity with public cloud platforms, including GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• You are well-versed in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• You possess experience in Linux system administration and a strong understanding of Linux design principles.
• You grasp essential SRE concepts, including monitoring, performance optimization, and automation.
• You can operate independently with minimal supervision, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
• You exhibit outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, working efficiently with cross-functional teams while adapting to new challenges and evolving technologies.
