
Senior Site Operations Manager – Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Lead safe offshore site operations, ensuring that work meets quality standards, is completed on time, and stays within budget.
• Monitor key performance indicators, report on progress and deviations, and implement necessary mitigation actions.
• Advocate for the GE Vernova Way by encouraging innovation, Lean practices, accountability, and a unified team culture.
• Oversee the implementation of response plans in accordance with Operator and GE policies, including support for incident investigations.
• Manage all offshore wind operations-related activities across European wind farms, with responsibility for SQDC performance.
• Act as the primary liaison for customer representatives and prepare monthly reports for customers.
• Coordinate administrative and planning tasks, including technician levels, service schedules, requisitions, documentation, and tracking availability.
• Direct the Production-Based Availability operational plan to enhance collaboration with the operator and increase availability.
• Track production-based availability metrics and ensure precise reporting to customer and GE Vernova management.
• Approve rotation plans and resource allocation to support scope delivery while managing risks to SQDC targets.
• Promote continuous improvement, knowledge retention, and feedback loops throughout the organization.
• Lead issue resolution, process enhancements, and cross-functional business initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment, talent development, and technician competence enhancement.
• Ensure that all resources, including technician authorization panels, are available to support site operations.
• Spearhead the development and ongoing enhancement of systems, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Aid in budget creation and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Collaborate with support functions to establish supplier agreements and contracts.
• Define clear roles and responsibilities across all capabilities in scope to ensure successful site delivery.
• A degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent professional education/apprenticeship in a technical field, along with extensive experience.
• Substantial experience in offshore wind operations or maintenance activities.
• Proven capability to operate in a cross-functional, global environment with remote teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated skill in analyzing and resolving problems in a structured way.
• Experience in leading projects and managing technician teams.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Fluent in English.
