Senior Shopify Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain tailored Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Develop sophisticated Shopify functionalities and personalized storefront experiences.

• Manage intricate Shopify projects from the initial requirements gathering phase through to deployment.

• Enhance Shopify stores for optimal performance, scalability, and conversion rates.

• Design high-converting landing pages for paid media campaigns.

• Apply theme improvements and updates focused on conversion for the storefront.

• Carry out technical implementations for initiatives aimed at improving conversion rates.

• Set up, oversee, and roll out A/B testing using Intelligems.

• Work alongside internal stakeholders to establish testing strategies.

• Guarantee precise implementation and monitoring of experiments.

• Design, construct, and manage integrations with third-party applications and services.

• Develop and maintain integrations for subscription platforms, including Skio and ReCharge.

• Diagnose and enhance API performance and dependability.

• Collaborate with Shopify APIs and external systems to streamline business processes.

• Partner with the Tech Lead on technical architecture and implementation strategies.

• Guide junior developers and offer technical mentorship.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of web development experience with a strong focus on Shopify development.

• In-depth understanding of Shopify architecture and Liquid templating language.

• High proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.

• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.

• Experience in implementing and managing A/B testing programs.

• Strong background with Shopify APIs and custom API integrations.

• Expert-level knowledge of GitHub, which includes:

• Best practices in version control

• Handling pull requests

• Branching strategies

• Conducting code reviews

• Collaborative development workflows

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Shopify storefront performance.
