This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• The Project Manager - Chemistry Services is accountable for assigned projects, encompassing inquiry-to-order (ITO) development, order-to-remittance (OTR) fulfillment, safety, quality, engineering, hardware and tooling development, production, and adherence to schedules.
• This position reports to the Product Line Leader of Chemistry Services, who is responsible for fleet-wide modifications of the relevant systems (Hydrogen Water Chemistry, OLNC, Zinc).
• Facilitate oversight and management of project engineering, procurement, quality control, financial aspects (particularly cost forecasting and management), staffing, and training/qualifications prior to site implementation.
• Foster appropriate relationships and engage effectively with various levels of the customer organization on commercial, technical, and compliance matters.
• Assist in project planning, risk assessment, conflict resolution, and management of the project team.
• Provide coordination and supervision to GVH and contingent workers executing engineering and other functional tasks essential for project delivery.
• Participate in critical design reviews, tooling and hardware assessments, training, and qualifications, primarily evaluated based on project success, which includes promoting a culture of integrity, compliance, safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction in key business-defined areas, while achieving or surpassing financial project targets, field execution, and leadership.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution with at least 8 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industry, or a high school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industry.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in Project Management.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering problem-solving and facilitating resolutions among diverse groups and interests.
• At least 1 year of experience with proposals, pricing, and billing practices.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25% of the time as dictated by business needs.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to Nuclear Plants.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ascend and descend 10 flights of stairs twice daily.
• Capability to climb ladders.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and physical examination.
• Ability to meet Fitness For Duty requirements.
