Senior Security Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute threat modeling and security design evaluations for new functionalities

• Conduct secure code assessments and deliver actionable insights

• Implement and oversee security tools throughout the development process

• Collaborate with platform engineering to ensure infrastructure and environmental security

• Assist in incident response for security-related occurrences

• Lead the triage and prioritization of vulnerabilities across various teams

• Work alongside sales and legal teams to address customer and vendor inquiries

• Aid in compliance audit processes by collecting evidence and documenting controls

• Oversee and react to alerts originating from endpoint, cloud, and application security tools

• Enhance and maintain security runbooks and procedural documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or a related field that encompasses both

• Practical experience with at least one compliance audit cycle such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI

• Strong foundational knowledge in application security, including threat modeling and secure code reviews

• Experience with security tools utilized throughout the development lifecycle: SAST, SCA, DAST

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, with a preference for Terraform

• Proficient in Python programming

• Excellent written communication abilities

• Comfortable utilizing AI-assisted development tools
