Senior Security Engineer, Insider Trust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and spearhead the development of the Insider Trust Team's infrastructure to create and automate complete detection and investigation workflows.

• Create, assess, and refine detection rules in Sigma to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.

• Lead initiatives focused on Insider Risks, encompassing issues such as access abuse, intellectual property theft, and emerging risks in the blockchain/Web3 domain.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Threat Management, People, Legal, IT, and Engineering, providing technical expertise and evidence to guide insider investigations.

• Aid in conducting sensitive interviews throughout insider threat investigations, utilizing your technical subject matter expertise to assist in fact-finding efforts.

• Actively identify and implement opportunities for improvement and modernization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in conducting technical investigations and working within an Insider Threat role. We are looking for senior-level candidates.

• Extensive experience in macOS environments, including log collection, log analysis, digital investigations, and forensics.

• Knowledge of Insider Threat tactics and attack vectors, data exfiltration methods, and experience in independently leading insider incidents as well as working within a team.

• Wide-ranging familiarity with Insider Threat investigations related to modern cloud infrastructure.

• Strong critical thinking abilities, along with integrity, objectivity, and maturity.
