This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• This position provides the chance to enhance enterprise security by overseeing vulnerabilities, incidents, and key security systems across cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
• You will collaborate closely with vendors, cross-functional teams, and senior executives to ensure proactive risk management and efficient security reporting.
• Coordinate with external vendors to guarantee prompt resolution of hardware and software issues.
• Examine the status and findings of vulnerability scans.
• Provide consultation to cross-functional teams for remediation efforts.
• Engage in security reporting and presentations for Senior Executives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep documentation current in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Take part in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update operational procedures documentation.
• Monitor and respond to security-related incidents and requests.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Security Engineer within a managed service environment or a large government agency.
• Experience with security operational tasks such as email filtration and identification.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the following technology stack:
• Microsoft Defender
• Microsoft Sentinel
• CrowdStrike Falcon
• KnowBe4 (less critical)
• Microsoft Azure
• Conditional Access Policies
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Security stack management
• Firewall review and administration
• ServiceNow (any ITSM tool; ServiceNow training can be provided)
• Capability to execute and potentially lead incident response activities.
• Familiarity with log review processes.
• Creation and review of Knowledge Base Articles (KBA).
• Proficient in analyzing complex technical issues and formulating effective solutions.
• Ability to evaluate security risks and develop suitable mitigation strategies.
• Commitment to staying informed about the latest security threats and technologies.
• Skill in effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, with experience in customer-facing roles being essential, especially when collaborating with customer teams and third-party Security Operations Centers (SOC).
