Staff Network Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold standards for network security architecture.

• Offer technical guidance to both security and network engineering teams.

• Conduct assessments of network security and perform threat modeling.

• Create and implement advanced security automation and tools.

• Work in conjunction with network engineers to embed security controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in network security engineering or similar positions.

• Exceptional communication capabilities for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Profound knowledge of Layer 2/3/4 networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, LACP).

• Proven experience in designing and constructing secure networks from scratch.

• Expertise in scripting/programming languages like Python or Go for automation and tooling purposes.

• Strong Linux proficiency and an understanding of firewall, routing, and DNS security.
