Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the security across the entire infrastructure and codebase.

• Perform penetration testing and proactively pinpoint system vulnerabilities.

• Evaluate and enhance security measures across enterprise deployments.

• Detect and resolve security issues in applications, DevOps pipelines, and cloud environments.

• Reinforce data protection controls including encryption, access management, audit logging, and secure hosting.

• Lead compliance efforts for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

• Assist in audit preparations, security evaluations, and certification activities.

• Establish secure development methodologies and security review protocols.

• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and ML teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.

• Propel continuous enhancements of the organization’s security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Security Engineering.

• Practical experience with Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment.

• Strong comprehension of Application Security and Code Security practices.

• Experience in identifying security risks across codebases, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.

• Working knowledge of security best practices for AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Experience with security in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management tools.

• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience in securing AI/ML systems is advantageous.
