Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Assist with PSIRT and vulnerability management initiatives

• Validate, triage, monitor, and coordinate security-related reports

• Offer practical remediation advice to engineering teams

• Aid in verifying security fixes and mitigating product security threats

• Analyze code, APIs, and architecture to uncover security vulnerabilities early

• Perform threat modeling and security design evaluations

• Enhance security automation within engineering processes

• Support SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and various security controls

• Manage SBOMs, ensure visibility of dependencies, and follow up on remediation

• Assist with security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and penetration testing

• Keep vulnerability management playbooks, product security protocols, and incident response documentation up to date

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in product security, application security, DevSecOps, or a similar cybersecurity discipline

• Solid software engineering foundation with the capability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

• Knowledge of application, API, infrastructure, and software supply chain security threats

• Proven experience implementing cloud security principles and practices

• Familiarity with IAM, network security, logging, monitoring, and secure cloud architecture strategies

• Understanding of vulnerability management, incident response, security evaluations, and secure SDLC methodologies

• Experience with threat modeling and conducting security design reviews

• Excellent communication abilities, including professional interactions with external researchers and vendors
