Senior Security Engineer, AppSec Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and take ownership of the vulnerability engineering pipeline

• Elevate the team's standards for AI integration through open experimentation

• Collaborate closely with development teams across Jane to ensure security is perceived as a service

• Manage intricate, multi-team vulnerability discoveries

• Participate in the team's on-call rotation

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in security engineering, encompassing deployed automation, pipelines, or internal security tools utilized by other teams

• Practical experience with Python and CI/CD security integrations, especially GitHub Actions

• Solid understanding of web and API vulnerability categories

• Knowledge of SAST, SCA, secret detection, DAST, and ASPM tools

• History of influencing cross-team efforts without direct authority

• Proven record as a force multiplier

• Must currently reside and work in Canada and not require sponsorship.
