This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the execution of secure architectural patterns within AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Aid in the deployment and operationalization of the CNAPP/CSPM platform.
• Enhance cloud security posture by integrating CNAPP with cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with Security Operations to automate and integrate with MSSP and SOAR automation response methodologies.
• Work alongside engineering and development teams to incorporate application security controls into development and deployment pipelines.
• Lead and support vulnerability management and patching initiatives across both infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to security architecture assessments, threat modeling, and design validation processes.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of IAM, PAM, and least-privilege access frameworks.
• Partner with the SecOps team to integrate telemetry into SIEM platforms for enhanced monitoring and detection.
• Support the development and upkeep of secure configuration baselines and reference architectures.
• Help to shape the patching strategy for servers, endpoints, and cloud workloads.
• Conduct architecture evaluations and document security requirements meticulously.
• Collaborate directly with engineering leaders to integrate security into product development roadmaps.
• Remain informed about the latest trends, threats, and technologies in security to continually enhance security posture.
• Promote a culture of zero trust security across engineering, development, and product teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in the industry.
• Background in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or ISSAP.
• Practical experience in securing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Working familiarity with CNAPP/CSPM platforms.
• Experience in vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and patch management procedures.
• Knowledge of application security principles including SAST, DAST, and secure SDLC.
• Experience with IAM, PAM, and access governance frameworks.
• Exposure to SIEM and security monitoring integrations.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, VPN, Conditional Access, and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as Python, PowerShell, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with container security technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Knowledge of encryption and key management best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
