Senior Secure Communications Engineer – Security Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance security profiles in alignment with NATO communication standards

• Evaluate adherence to NATO Data Centric Security (DCS) requirements

• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and concept demonstrators

• Assist in interoperability and validation exercises

• Design and implement security validation testing

• Generate technical specifications and documentation for standards

• Create and maintain software components that facilitate secure information exchange

• Contribute to SCRUM-based development teams

• Aid in knowledge transfer and technical handover processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing or implementing secure communication protocols

• Familiarity with: PKI

• OAuth

• OpenID

• Secure messaging

• Network security

• Hands-on software development experience in: Java

• Python

• Angular

• Knowledge of XML and JSON technologies

• Experience in test engineering, validation, or interoperability testing

• Strong grasp of network architectures and messaging systems

• Proficient in written and spoken English

• Highly desirable NATO experience

• Familiarity with NATO Software Factory (NSF)

• FFT systems

• STANAG 4774 / 4778

• Military interoperability standards

• Participation in CWIX

• Understanding of Command & Control systems

• Knowledge of NATO Data Centric Security (DCS)
