Senior Search Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• This position involves working with the core of our ML and AI services that enhance user experiences.

• Engage in end-to-end development on live production services, focusing not only on rank-tuning or query enhancements but on practical applications that affect our customers' daily interactions.

• Determine the optimal strategies to address NLP and information retrieval challenges. Construct data pipelines and exceptional search experiences. Test and validate services, as well as deploy and monitor solutions for effectiveness.

• Develop scalable web services to orchestrate and present the underlying Search and ML models.

• Analyze usage data to drive feature development and inform project direction.

• Take part in technical planning, user story creation, technical acceptance criteria development, and implementation.

• Design technical architectures that reduce or eliminate performance issues, complexity, and solution fragility.

• Work autonomously while providing mentorship to junior team members.

• Recognize and address complex challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in developing scalable and dependable search applications.

• Proficient in Python at an expert level.

• Familiarity with Search and Clickstream analytics.

• Capability to mentor and disseminate knowledge among team members.

• Self-motivated, independent, and well-organized.

• Strong command of the English language.
