This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Creating and developing a scalable test automation framework from the ground up utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright;
• Crafting and sustaining end-to-end, UI, and API automated testing;
• Establishing the comprehensive test automation architecture while ensuring its scalability and maintainability;
• Integrating the automation frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline and promoting quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Working closely with software engineers to enhance product quality and implement engineering best practices;
• Recognizing testing gaps and consistently enhancing test coverage, reliability, and performance;
• Diagnosing test failures and streamlining automated test execution;
• Guiding developers on executing automation tests and advocating for automation best practices within the engineering team;
• Assuming responsibility for the automation framework and continuously refining it as the product evolves.
• A university degree (preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline);
• Over 5 years of professional experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Engineering;
• At least 2 years of practical commercial experience with Playwright (REQUIRED);
• Extensive experience with TypeScript/JavaScript (REQUIRED);
• Proven experience in designing and constructing test automation frameworks from scratch;
• Strong grasp of software testing principles, automation architecture, and engineering best practices;
• Familiarity with UI and API test automation;
• Experience using CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar);
• Practical experience with Allure or other reporting tools and framework integration;
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments;
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work autonomously;
• Experience in mentoring engineers and leading automation initiatives would be a significant advantage;
• Proficient verbal and written English skills (B2–C1) – REQUIRED.
