Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and guide agile ceremonies, ensuring they are effective and aligned with team goals (Daily, Planning, Review, Retrospective, Refinements, and other necessary events).

• Serve as a Servant Leader by removing obstacles and fostering the team's development and autonomy.

• Enhance the agile maturity of teams and promote an agile culture throughout the organization.

• Assist Product Owners and stakeholders in managing and prioritizing the backlog, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.

• Guarantee transparency, predictability, and visibility of deliveries through metrics and ongoing monitoring.

• Track, analyze, and drive agile metrics such as Velocity, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, CFD, and other pertinent metrics.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, proactively taking action to minimize impacts.

• Facilitate communication among teams, business areas, and stakeholders, encouraging alignment and collaboration.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ongoing learning, and operational excellence.

• Support agile transformation initiatives, aiding in the evolution of processes and working models.

• Operate in environments with multiple teams, promoting synchronization and effective dependency management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Scrum Master with software development and digital product teams.

• Practical knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, or similar.

• Proficiency with agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Trello, or their equivalents.

• Experience in defining, tracking, and analyzing data-driven agile metrics.

• Understanding of software engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous delivery.

• Strong facilitation abilities, conflict mediation skills, and workshop leadership.

• Capability to influence stakeholders and lead organizational change.

• Experience working with distributed or remote teams or within scaled structures.
