Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The role of the Scrum Master is to facilitate the agile software development process, guide development teams, identify and eliminate obstacles, and advocate for the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices.

• The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of agile processes and activities, and for leading the meetings outlined in the development process.

• To enhance oversight, improve communication between the CLIENT and the CONTRACTOR, and boost potential outcomes in contract execution, the Scrum Master will also take on Operational Manager responsibilities in interfacing with the CLIENT, acting as the main point of contact for the assigned teams.

• Conducting alignment and planning meetings that cover aspects such as timeline estimates, risks, expectations, and objectives in collaboration with the business area or the CLIENT.

• Engaging in technical or business discussions and demonstrations.

• Upholding and striving to meet the quality standards mandated by the CLIENT.

• Serving as a liaison with the Infrastructure area, addressing technical alignment actions, resolving inquiries, and providing support necessary for task or project completion.

• Fairly negotiating requirements with the requesting area and addressing additional matters pertinent to effective contract execution and the agile process.

• Overseeing the detailed operation of the demand management system, including the classification, routing, and follow-up of requests.

• Assisting with the testing and deployment processes for requests or products, which may involve performing and/or supervising essential technical and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

• Proven leadership and people management skills.

• Strong analytical and judgment skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from a recognized and accredited institution by the Ministry of Education (MEC); OR

• Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized and accredited institution by the Ministry of Education (MEC), along with a postgraduate course in software engineering, software development, or project management that includes a minimum of 360 hours, recognized and completed at an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
