This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Conduct manual assessments and evaluations of home sleep studies in line with AASM scoring standards and company protocols.
• Analyze automated scoring results and verify or adjust sleep staging, respiratory events, oxygen desaturation, arousals, and other clinically significant data.
• Ensure scoring precision while fulfilling productivity targets in a fast-paced workflow.
• Recognize studies that need physician evaluation or clinical escalation.
• Keep thorough documentation and uphold quality standards.
• Engage in quality assurance assessments, calibration activities, and scoring consistency projects.
• Work alongside physicians and clinical team members to facilitate timely completion of studies and smooth workflow.
• Remain updated on AASM scoring rule modifications, industry best practices, and advancements in sleep medicine standards.
• Spot opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and workflow.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Must possess a current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist–Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS) certification.
• Additional state licensure may be necessary depending on the states where services are provided.
• A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in sleep study scoring is required.
• Extensive experience in manual scoring and quality review of sleep studies is essential.
• Strong understanding of AASM scoring guidelines and principles of sleep medicine.
• Experience in reviewing automated scoring and making clinically appropriate adjustments.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with a strong commitment to scoring accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, high-volume production environment and adapt to changing priorities, workflows, and business requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with a track record of meeting productivity targets.
• Proficient in sleep scoring software and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to collaborate effectively within a remote clinical team.
• Experience in scoring Home Sleep Tests (HSTs) is preferred.
• Familiarity with WatchPAT and CloudPat is preferred.
• Prior experience in quality assurance, scoring audits, or scoring oversight is preferred.
• Comfort with learning new technologies and adapting to changing workflows is preferred.
