Drone Data Processing Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Transform raw drone imagery alongside LiDAR/SLAM data into georeferenced point clouds and photogrammetric models.

• Digitize various site elements such as concrete lines, building corners, utilities, and additional physical improvements.

• Ensure that the extracted data adheres to stringent accuracy standards and is well-structured for the drafting team.

• Address and troubleshoot any data quality anomalies that arise.

• Utilize independent judgment to clarify ambiguous features within the source data.

• Convert raw aerial data into precise, client-ready survey models.

• Clean datasets, extract physical features, and organize spatial data for downstream drafting needs.

• Proficiency in advanced English is mandatory.

• Demonstrated capability to quickly master intricate technical software workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with meticulous precision.

• Comfortable working autonomously and making informed technical decisions with imperfect or noisy data.

• Highly adept at interpreting 3D spatial data, point clouds, maps, and aerial imagery.

• Experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or GIS fields is preferred.

• Possession of a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is an advantage.

• Professional demeanor and ethical behavior are essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have access to a personal computer (laptop/desktop) with internet connectivity.

• Proficient in using Hubstaff time tracking software.

• Familiarity with Papaya Global or Payoneer for monthly payments is required.

• A 1.5–2 minute voice note in English must be submitted during the screening process.
