Senior SAS Developer – SDTM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for data management and statistical matters regarding database programming and the development of deliverable databases.

• Review and test clinical database (EDC) requirements and structure.

• Review the data validation plan and program the necessary data validation procedures.

• Generate clinical database listings and reports to assist in the collection, tracking, review, and validation of clinical trial data.

• Program patient profiles.

• Contribute to and support the creation of the Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) including define.xml, annotated CRF, and reviewer’s guide, as well as program the transformation of raw data sources into CDISC-compliant deliverables.

• Validate clinical trial data in accordance with SDTM specifications.

• Manage the transfer of deliverable databases to clients, including electronic data transfers.

• Serve as a liaison with vendors and clients to discuss electronic data transfer specifications.

• Handle the receipt and validation of electronic data transfers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a college or university degree in IT, programming, or a related technical field.

• Demonstrate full working proficiency in English.

• Have adequate relevant technical experience.

• Experience with Clinical Data Management systems (such as Medidata/Veeva) is preferred.

• Familiarity with and experience in the SAS programming language (Base SAS, SAS/Macros, SAS/ODS).

• Understanding of CDISC standards.

• Knowledge of and practical experience in SQL.

• Proficient in standard MS Office applications and MS Access.

• Experience in a professional setting, ideally involving clinical or medical data.
