Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design and develop applications and SDKs tailored for the iOS platform.

• Oversee releases and manage SDK versioning.

• Ensure the maintenance of publicly available API documentation for our SDKs.

• Conceptualize and suggest platform-specific enhancements for our SDKs.

• Uphold code quality and adhere to high development standards.

• Conduct unit testing on code to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.

• Construct and sustain CI/CD infrastructure alongside internal tools and reporting systems.

• Collaborate with the product team to break down business requirements into manageable tasks for the engineering team.

• Work together with fellow engineers to plan, develop, and test new features.

• Recognize existing technical debt and collaborate with team leaders on strategies to address it.

• Engage in discussions regarding the technology roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in native iOS development, with proficiency in Android considered an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Outstanding communication skills, especially when engaging with non-technical stakeholders.

• Extensive experience with Objective-C and Swift coding; familiarity with Cocoapods is preferred.

• Strong grasp of core OOP principles, data structures, and SDK development.

• Solid understanding of concurrency and memory management within iOS.

• Proficient in working with RESTful architecture and networking.

• Experience in unit and functional testing.

• Familiarity with additional dependency managers.

• Experience with HIPAA compliance and strong security practices is beneficial.
