This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Administer, upgrade, and maintain the current global SAP MII, SAP ME (NetWeaver Java stacks), and core ERP (ECC and S/4HANA) infrastructure.
• Skilled in installing and configuring SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) along with SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which necessitates a systematic, sequenced approach.
• Oversee the technical (BASIS and/or Netweaver) aspects of migrating from ECC to S/4HANA, including the configuration, setup, and security routing of SAP BTP Cloud Connectors.
• Configure and sustain high-volume, real-time middleware connectivity (RFC destinations, ALE/IDoc ports, OData gateway configurations) linking the core ERP to the shop-floor MII/ME layers (excluding SCADA).
• Monitor and enhance memory management, database performance (SAP HANA and SQL Server), work processes, and JVM settings to eradicate latency in manufacturing data transfers.
• Enforce rigorous security hardening, encryption protocols, and user authorization controls across all layers to adhere to A&D standards (ITAR, EAR, NIST, and data residency laws between the US and Mexico).
• Collaborate closely with the Principal MII/ME Architect and Senior ABAP Developer to implement custom transport requests, provision cloud environments, and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
• 10–15+ years of core SAP BASIS administration experience, with specific expertise in managing both ABAP and NetWeaver Java stacks (essential for SAP MII/ME).
• Demonstrated experience in supporting at least one significant ECC-to-S/4HANA migration project, along with expert-level SAP HANA database administration skills.
• Practical experience in setting up and managing SAP BTP environments, overseeing subaccounts, and configuring secure Cloud Connectors for hybrid landscapes.
• Previous involvement in supporting highly critical, 24/7 manufacturing environments where system downtime has an immediate impact on plant-floor operations.
• Extensive knowledge of STMS (SAP Transport Management System), ChaRM, and deploying transport configurations across complex, multi-tiered global development tracks.
• Outstanding troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities in high-pressure, zero-downtime manufacturing scenarios.
• Strong communication skills for managing technical updates across global teams in the US and Mexico.
• Due to ITAR regulations and defense contract constraints, US Citizenship and/or Green Card restrictions apply, and some security clearances may be required.
• Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) is strongly preferred, and SAP Certification is always a plus.
• Comprehensive health and wellness programs.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
• Competitive salary and incentive packages.
• Flexible work arrangements and supportive work-life balance initiatives.
