Senior SAP Finance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee finance workstreams during S/4HANA migrations (from ECC to S/4 Public/Private Cloud).

• Perform hands-on tasks such as configuration, creating functional specifications, testing, troubleshooting, and providing production support.

• Evaluate and enhance Record-to-Report, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.

• Assist in both project delivery (greenfield and brownfield) as well as maintenance and Application Management Services (AMS).

• Facilitate workshops with German-speaking clients and promote alignment in business processes.

• Offer blueprinting, configuration assistance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, cutover preparations, and hypercare.

• Collaborate closely with logistics and controlling teams to ensure a cohesive end-to-end design.

• Aid in presales activities, scoping, and customer presentations in both German and English.

• Contribute to the SAP build team by creating templates, accelerators, standards, and delivery methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP FI/CO consulting.

• Previous experience with German industrial and manufacturing sectors.

• Proficient in both German and English (business fluent).

• Background in industrial projects and multi-country implementations.

• Willingness to travel 40–60% of the time based on client requirements.

• Availability to travel to the office up to twice a month when not working on-site with clients.

• Strong hands-on approach with the capability to alternate between project execution and maintenance responsibilities.
