Senior SAP Developer, Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive design of industry-specific customer processes from start to finish.

• Provide guidance to our clients on the design and execution of innovative IT solutions, ensuring alignment of requirements and coordination of all necessary tasks.

• Explore suitable options and recommendations from the SAP solution portfolio and create a solution architecture tailored to the client's needs.

• Execute solutions while ensuring integration across components.

• Identify and create strategies to bridge gaps in the SAP standard portfolio.

• Analyze and promote the development of processes tailored for energy utilities.

• Oversee governance and management of subprojects and specialized streams.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to our consultants.

• Create requirement specifications and manage their implementation.

• Facilitate client workshops and training sessions.

• Collaborate with the team on various projects, including digitalization, standardization, optimization of complex processes, and the introduction of new SAP-centric platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.

• In-depth knowledge of the energy sector.

• Extensive consulting experience in SAP within the energy industry.

• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (e.g., ABAP OO or Java).

• Expertise in specific SAP solutions for the energy industry, particularly in areas such as market communication, energy data management, billing, or customer management processes.

• Familiarity with software development focused on tailored customer requirements.

• Experience with cloud-based SAP projects.

• Knowledge of energy utilities' processes and/or several years of experience in implementing and enhancing SAP systems for the energy sector.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Background in (IT) project management, employing both traditional (waterfall) and agile methodologies.

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• Experience in (SAP) data migration projects is a plus.
